2000 BMW 323 No Reverse Problem 
The cause for no reverse in the 2000 BMW 323 is a broken reverse drum. The top edge of the the drum just above the snap ring breaks off. Probably a poor design considering reverse typically uses a great deal of pressure to apply the clutch’s.
