Handling Panic Disorder and Agoraphobia > Blogr permalink
When someone suffers from frequent panic attacks, they may also have agoraphobia, a condition where they stop going to certain places in fear of re-experiencing a panic attack. Panic attacks affect a person mentally and physically, and they often make a negative mental connection with the place that they experienced the attack in. Agoraphobia can make it hard for the person to go outside of their comfort zone, and they may start to avoid all types of situations including sports arenas, malls or public transportation.
